I located the Lagarosiphon Major within a natural pond-like environment in Fletcher Moss Gardens. Initially Its condition was difficult to establish as it is an aquatic plant however, I managed to retrieve some of it from within the pond. It seemed to be in good health, although the muddy conditions of the water may have proven to have been a distraction to its correct health status. Due to the mass of this specie growing within the pond, I can only assume that it was of a healthy condition. The specie may have been planted to allow a place of good habitat for water dwelling insects and animals, or simply for aesthetics of the area.
