This specie was located within the gardens of Fletcher Moss Park, and was in close proximity to the central water/pond feature. The intent of planting is unknown: If it was to have been intentionally planted, then it will have been situated alongside the water as it thrives best in those conditions. It will have also been intentional to prevent the implementation of any other means of plant in close proximity to the specie as it has the ability to harm surrounding plants, killing any competition. However, if it was self seeded, then the specie may be in a wider, more randomised cluster but still in close proximity to the water as a preference of condition. Its means of being so secluded and distanced from surrounding plant will be of result of a negative effect; having killed the competition.
